Exhibition of history of sea altitude measuring gauge (angle gauge)

Practice Sailing Ship Sokkento (Sequistant) which was installed at the time when Nihon Maru and Kaio Maru came into service was preserved. There are also things in the state where the accessories are all lost without being lost. We will exhibit the historical altitude measuring ceremony (replicated goods) of Sekistant and others owned by the Yokohama Minato Museum including these, in chronological order and explain the transition.

Sailing ship Nippon Maru

Built in 1930 (Showa 5) year. As a practicing sail boat, he has been active for 54 years. Currently it carries out business such as public release on the ship and holding of the ocean classroom. Next to Yokohama Minato Museum, where you can enjoy the history of Yokohama Harbor fun.
