Go to Deep Culture Street "Yokohamabashi Shopping District"! (Part 1)

Yokohama Deep Culture Street
There is a "road" that I want to peep into and want to have.
Deep Culture Street
I asked the rumor and went to the place I always wanted to go.
"Yokohama is interesting!" There must be such a discovery here.

LET'S GO Yokohamabashi Shopping District !! (Part 1)
A 2-minute walk from the municipal subway "Bandobashi Station" or "Yokohamabashi" and "Miyoshibashi" bus stops.

A long arcade-equipped shopping center has appeared in front of you! I can't help but be thrilled to feel that the atmosphere of the Showa era is overflowing, unlike a certain shopping mall that is popular nowadays. I walked around "Yokohamabashi Shopping District", one of the "three major shopping districts of Hama"!

The arcade with a total length of about 350 meters continues. Unfortunately it was raining on the day of the interview, but since it is covered, there are many customers regardless of the weather!

Immediately after entering the shopping district, Mr. Nobuaki suddenly intrigued me with the boiled eggs in the store. I wonder if it's been simmered for a long time. Just by looking at it, you can see that the soup stock is soaked in.

Next to that, there is a wide variety of kimchi and changers, such as "Fuku".Mikorei Ginseng Industry ".

This shopping street is also famous for having many kimchi shops. It's all homemade, and it seems fun to compare the tastes of each shop.

I tasted kimchi completely. It's not too sour, it's delicious and delicious. Please give me a white rice !! (laughs)

First of all, it was the soba restaurant "Anraku" who came in with the cameraman to get hungry.

I got the name "Yokohamabashi Soba" !! Crispy vegetable kakiage is on top of the thick ankake soba. The scent of trefoil is an accent and this is also delicious !!

By the way, here is the cameraman.

Lunch service"Tendon" (with miso soup and new incense) with tempura of rice bowl, shrimp, kiss, and vegetables.

Actually, this "Anraku" is a shop that is often used by Master Katsura Utamaru, who is familiar with that laughing point. Master Utamaru lives in Yokohama.

So, the signature of the shoten member!

And this is a souvenir of the 50th anniversary of Shoten, which was distributed only to the people concerned. I heard that he received it when he went to the Utamaru master's house. It's a rare thing !!

Mr. Yasutaro Ishizuka, the owner of "Anraku", was the former chairman of this shopping district association. When asked about the appeal of the shopping district … "This is said to be a" shopping district that does not require a refrigerator. "The appeal is that you can always go shopping for something that is missing. Please tell me. After paying the bill, we headed to the interview and said, "If you have any problems, please tell me. I'll get in between you and the store." Thank you very much for your kindness and kindness !!

This is Mr. Kakumaru Fruit and Vegetables. There are many customers in the neighborhood who buy vegetables here and bring home-made dishes to "eat this". As expected, it's a "shopping street that doesn't need a refrigerator" !!

From the moment you enter the shopping district, it echoes in the arcadeA powerful and loud voice. This was the main voice.

The president of "Tsutanigawa Fisheries". I asked for a word, but I was stubbornly rejected by saying, "Not me, but that cute woman !!" … I managed to get the photo shoot OK here (laughs).

"Tsutanigawa Fisheries" is lined with freshly caught fish. "Welcome! I recommend horse mackerel today! All the customers in this shopping street are warm and I enjoy chatting with my mom and dad!" Fukuda's smile is the best!

After a while, the fried foods are on the other side of the road!

It is a side dish store "Tochigiya" that has been in business for 80 years. The popular croquettes, minced meat cutlets, and macaroni salad are all handmade by my dad !! How about a side dish for dinner tonight?

There is also a bakery in the line. "Maruju Bakery" has been around since 1954. It seems to be a popular shop, and the number of customers is constant even during the interview.

The most popular of this shop is here.

Bread sold as a single bottle! I had it as a souvenir, but it was fluffy and sweet, and it was delicious as it was or toasted. I really recommend it !! (Thank you to the mother who chased me for bread as a souvenir, thank you for that section !!)

The light bulb has burned out! The cooler doesn't work! There are also electric shops in the shopping district that are useful for living like this.

"Men's Shop Edoya" has a store across the street.

It is a men's clothing store that has been around for about 70 years since the Showa era. And here is what I would like to introduceThe second president of Edoya !!

This smile is wonderful, isn't it? I'm happy to take pictures, and this smile has a gentle and fun personality. "I want to offer good things at low prices. I want many men to enjoy fashion." The president who wants to support people who enjoy fashion was also fashionable !!

Here, the arcade of "Yokohamabashi Shopping District" is just half. Before the next sequel, I decided to go back to the road I just came to and open the door of this shop, which I was really curious about from the outside.

This is "Cafe Mu". I can't see the inside! But for some reason, I'm attracted to this atmosphere … If you take the plunge and open the door …

The interior of the store has a nostalgic atmosphere with a Showa era atmosphere. It's very quiet, and this is a space called "old-fashioned coffee shop".

I didn't want to take a photo of my face, but the cocoa that the kind mother who manages the shop carefully put in was so delicious that I was exhausted in an instant. It was a treat.

… and this time up to here. I still have wonderful encounters with my camera, so the next Yokohama Deep Culture Street "Yokohamabashi Shopping District"Please look forward to the second part ~
