Yokohama Kannai Hall
"Yokohama Kannai Hall (official name: Yokohama City Citizens Hall Kannai Hall)" is located on the Bashamichi near Kannai Station. Since its opening in 1986, it has been used by more than 300,000 people annually as a hall where entertainment of various genres can be enjoyed.
After a large-scale renovation work to extend the service life of facilities from the year before last, it was reopened in September last year.
In the renovation work, the façade and the lobby foyer design were renewed.
In the large hall, the size of all seats has been increased, and the staggered arrangement of the central block seats has made the stage easier to see!

First of all, from the appearance.
To the Yokohama Kannai Hall, get off at JR Kannai Station and get off at the north exit, about 6 minutes / Get off at "Bashamichi Station" on the Minatomirai Line, and take about 5 minutes from Exit 5. Good access near the station!

New facade (front entrance)
The "Nest" installed at the front entrance of the Yokohama Kannai Hall is a decoration with the motif of the sunlight through the trees. It shows different expressions depending on the season and time of day.

"Bashamichi Short Performance Live"
In front of the impressive red monument on the right side of the front entrance of the Yokohama Kannai Hall, a new stage of about 7m x 3m (21m2) is newly installed. At Bashamichi Short Performance Live, artists such as musicians, dancers and performers who have passed the preliminary screening performed by the hall will appear. Enjoy live performances by a variety of artists , regardless of genre, whether professional or amateur !
New digital signage (electronic signboard) in the front lobby
