Welcome to a nostalgic place!
tenjishitsu: Tür aus Holz Yamamoto Town

"Tenjishitsu: Tür aus Holz Yamamotocho" is a café and bar that utilizes the original structure of a building that was originally a photo studio.

The store name "Tür aus Holz" means "wooden door" in German.
The shop is run by the owner couple who have a lovely smile.

In the adjoining gallery, exhibitions and projects are held irregularly!

Appearance of the shop

<Access> 20 minutes walk from JR Negishi Line Ishikawacho Station South Exit / 25 minutes walk from JR Yamate Station

From the south exit of JR Ishikawacho Station, go straight up the hill at the Mugitamachi intersection toward the Kashiwaba Iriguchi intersection.
The slopes may be a bit tough, but it might be good exercise (laughs).

A shop with a Showa retro appearance at the top of the slope.

With the shop in the center, the right side is for Minato-no-Mieruoka Park, and the left side is for Negishi.

Pets are also welcome!

inside of shop

The display in the store and the plates used are antiques collected by the owner and those of the artist.

All the items in the shop are carefully selected by the owner from Japan and overseas.
Precious antiques and plates are laid out naturally, so you may be surprised when you hear about their history!
It's wonderful to spend time surrounded by such precious things.
From the moment you enter the shop, you will feel like you are having a special time!

Because the shop is surrounded by glass, many people are looking inside the shop as they walk.

In the past, the fake eggs on display also played a role in preventing chickens from laying too many eggs.
Now, I'm completely absorbed in the atmosphere of the store.

Moody atmosphere at night ♡

No smoking inside the store. Smoking is allowed in the space on the right side of the shop.

Inside, the owner's special swag (fashionably bundled dried flowers), art-related posters and leaflets are stuck on the walls.

Let's go to the gallery on the 2nd floor!

Go up the stairs that "reminds me of my grandma's house in the countryside" to the 2nd floor

Feeling like a time slip in a nostalgic space

Special exhibition "The landscape with no name" was held at the time of the interview
(now closed)

All the antiques here, while thinking about their background, slowly looking at them one by one is very enjoyable and relaxing.
Surrender yourself to the leisurely flow of time in this space...

I like antiques and dried flowers, so much so that I forget the time has passed (laughs).
Before I knew it, I was completely immersed in the world of antiques...

Return to 1F and order your meal!

The food menu incorporates seasonal ingredients, using fresh vegetables from local Kanagawa Prefecture (mainly Odawara and Isehara) that the owner directly purchases.

In addition, homemade drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and gelato are also available.
All the menus are very fashionable and delicious, including the ingredients, the appearance and the taste! !

*The menu is subject to change depending on the season.
Please ask the owner for details.

When you are enjoying your meal in the antique, more and more customers!
There are locals, people who stop by on their way home from work, and customers who come to the store for the first time.
Before I knew it, I was part of the friendly, smiling atmosphere (laughs).

Good time
It seems that there are many people who become repeaters!

The owner and his wife, who have a variety of talents, will continue to draw you in without running out of topics to talk about.

From the outside, you can see the nostalgic glow of warm lights.

"tenjishitsu: Tür aus Holz Yamamotocho" is a warm and welcoming shop where even first-time customers can naturally enjoy talking with each other.

Be sure to visit the shop to see the smiling faces of the friendly owner couple.
