The YCC Yokohama Creative City Center will hold an exhibition “YCC Temporary Eita Takahashi” by the artist Yuta Takahashi from November 22, 2019 (Friday) as the seventh installment of the art program “YCC Temporary”. Yuta Takahashi has a wide range of activities, including installations, projections, performances, and workshops using light and video, and is one of the leading artists who produce works on the theme of light in Japan. I have a lot of connection with Yokohama, and I have published many works in Yokohama in the past, such as “Smart Illumination Yokohama” and “RED ROOM” at YCC.

In this exhibition, children's 0-year-old photos and birthday videos collected from about 300 people living in Yokohama and related to Yokohama, etc. were used as components of the work, and light and sound were used. New installation works will be exhibited. It is an attempt to create a place where the irreplaceable personal memories beyond time and place can be relativized and the activities of the people reflected can be seen.
