「Collection corner exhibition "Children of Goyo Hirata"」
Goyo Hirata, a living national treasure and a central figure in the puppet art movement, has raised puppets from children's toys to works of art.
This exhibition will showcase the works of Goyo Hirata in the Yokohama Doll Museum.
In addition to beautiful and realistic masterpieces such as "Shohi", we will also introduce cute and energetic works with the theme of lively children playing such as "Children's Hobby".

Yokohama Doll Museum is a doll museum that can be enjoyed across generations with the concept of "Puppet Fureai Cruise from Yokohama to the World". More than 1,000 dolls are always on display, including regional dolls and precious dolls made by Living National Treasure. We also hold special exhibitions and events that the whole family can enjoy. There is also a museum shop and cafe on site.
