Kawasui Kawasaki Aquarium is currently holding the first Christmas event "Kawasui Christmas 2020" after opening.

Kawasui promotes the "Eco Kawa! Project," which starts actions that benefit the global environment. At this event, you can experience the efforts of "Eco Kawa!", implement a sustainable experience program that is eco-conscious and think about the global environment and living things, and sell original Christmas cakes with motifs of Kawasui's popular living things. A special exhibition of aquatic plant Christmas trees will be held. This Christmas, while being a little eco-conscious, please enjoy the Christmas time at Kawasui, where you can be kind to the global environment and your loved ones.

"Eco-kawa! Scrap Wood Mini Tree Workshop"
We will make a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree using scrap wood from a lumber store in Kawasaki. For the top ornament, you can choose one from a star design inspired by Christmas, or a fish or bird design inspired by Kawasui creatures. Why don't you start a small eco-friendly activity through the experience of making an original mini tree from waste materials that would normally be thrown away?
