Discover the appeal and understanding of Kanagawa's multinational society through "play songs"!

Many people with foreign roots live in Kanagawa Prefecture. With the aim of understanding and rediscovering the charm of multinational and multicultural society, we are interviewing people with roots in foreign countries who live in the prefecture about the "play songs" they played when they were children. Based on the collected "play songs", we have arranged them so that children living in Japan with musicians and choreographers can play. We will publish it. Experience multiculturalism, cooperation, imagination, and creation through “play songs” with your family and friends.

What is the appeal of play songs?

A "play song" that everyone has played in childhood. Is "Alps 10,000 shaku" famous in Japan, which begins with "Sessese no Yoyo Yoyoi"? It is a comprehensive artistic expression that combines various elements such as songs, rhythms, movements (physical expressions), improvisational games, and the use of tools. It's interesting that the melody is different. Furthermore, regardless of musical tastes, the fundamental act of "playing" enriches sensibility and creativity, and is loved by many people of many generations.
