"Embroidery" that is sewn one by one by hand. In addition to the various facial expressions created from threads and cloth, this is a dense expression technique that integrates the time spent on production and the physicality of the creator.
This exhibition pays attention to this embroidery and introduces its charm through about 230 works in a wide range of fields. Crossing various fields such as Central and Eastern European folk costumes, Inuit wall hangings, modern picture book original drawings and illustrations, paintings, French haute couture embroidery, etc., we still capture our hearts across times and regions. Explore the charm of embroidery.
