A very popular project! A conversation with people on Twitter!

大好評企画! ツイッターの中の人対談!

The Twitter account of the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra (hereinafter referred to as the Sendai Philharmonic) from Miyagi Prefecture, which stands out in the world of Japanese professional orchestras. The Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra (hereinafter referred to as the Kanagawa Philharmonic) has been operating an account on Twitter since 2010, and has been increasing its followers while working hard to enliven the orchestra.

The Twitter “people inside” conversation project has been popular in the past. This time, two people from the Kanagawa Philharmonic and the Sendai Philharmonic spoke passionately and deeply.
In fact, the two have a close relationship even in their private lives. It's already so exciting! As the facilitator, I couldn't stop laughing.
Please enjoy this passionate “inside discussion” to the end, which is only possible with the love of the orchestra!

One day in March, we had an online conversation.
As soon as it started, the topic of the office that appeared in the background started (lol)

Sendai Philharmonic
The office is beautiful~ nice~

Kanagawa Philharmonic
I just moved recently, so it's okay, right?

Sendai Philharmonic
No, it's really nice~My house is currently being redecorated for the first time in decades~

facilitator
···nice to meet you! Thank you!

Oh please! lol

What a great icebreaker! Now, let's get down to business.

Aiming for tweets with a human touch
Sendai Philharmonic
I wasn't in charge of the account when it was established, but most of the content I posted was promoting concerts. There were a lot of tweets about concert information that were relatively mechanical, and there weren't a lot of tweets that had a human touch.
There were no tweets that would make my followers want to retweet or spread the word.

Kanagawa Philharmonic
First of all, it's amazing to realize that there is no humanity.

Sendai Philharmonic
So, actually, I wanted to try tweeting more human things like behind-the-scenes stories and behind-the-scenes stories about musical instruments. Just like the official accounts of major companies that were popular at the time, I thought it would be nice to have a tweet that gave a glimpse of the person's personal feelings.
It has a strangely human feel to it.

Kanagawa Philharmonic
So when the Kanagawa Philharmonic saw the Sendai Philharmonic's attempt, they were inspired to give it a try. I don't think I would have been able to do it alone.
Nowadays, people ask me things like, ``Are you dating?'' and that the two of you are really hooked up and joking around with each other (lol).
I was also worried that people would get mad at me for doing this. Actually, it's difficult to draw the line.

Sendai Philharmonic
oh yeah. Although it is the official account of the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra and does not want to become just one person's account, we are managing it using our brains to show the humanity of the people who manage and operate it. Actually (lol)

Funny tweets from the Sendai Philharmonic account

facilitator
By the way, have you ever had a so-called "flame" experience?

Kanagawa Philharmonic
Or rather, I've received scolding from the band members telling me to stop fooling around and to be a little more serious, but in my case, I used that as a springboard to create an account that would gain more support. You have experience.

Sendai Philharmonic
I wonder if there will be a fire?
Well, the rules aren't clearly delineated, so you have to use your discretion as a manager and decide what you can and can't write, so it's still difficult. However, I always post with a sense of responsibility as I am responsible for the 70 or so members of the orchestra. That's why the emotional tweets from people inside and the official advertisements are written in different ways, so that they can be clearly differentiated.

Kanagawa Philharmonic
Well, I'm always conscious of how my followers will feel and how they will receive it.

Twitter is an activity that expands the base

Sendai Philharmonic
I'm going to sell concert tickets using a tool called Twitter! I don't think so.
Of course, it would be great if it sold well, but first I want to raise awareness among people who don't know the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra or who don't know the orchestra itself. I want to expand my fan base, and that's what I do.
This means that people around the world can access our information in real time.

Kanagawa Philharmonic
Ours is a little different, and rather than wanting people to know more about the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, I think we want to get rid of the image that orchestras are difficult to enter and convey the fun and excitement of being an orchestra.

Sendai Philharmonic
Yeah, or rather, don't you really hate being told that it's too difficult to enter? ?

Kanagawa Philharmonic
I don't like it! !

both
Don't worry about what you should wear or what you should do if you clap by mistake. There are some people who come in jinbei in the summer (lol), so it's not rude, and there's nothing wrong with wearing jeans. All I can think of is thank you for coming.

facilitator
It's true that I'm also the type of person who feels like I have to dress properly. That's not true!

both
It's totally normal and good! (For once!)
I always wonder why people think it's so difficult to enter, but I'm sure if you come just once, you'll be able to overcome that problem, so please give it a try. It's really interesting!

Account appeal points

both
It has a certification mark, I guess (lol)
At the time when we obtained the certification mark, it was difficult to obtain certification. The application form is all in English. I applied with the help of Google and did my best. I lost the Sendai Philharmonic once and won the second time.

Kanagawa Philharmonic
The Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra has many accounts for its members, and each one has a strong personality, so it's interesting.

Sendai Philharmonic
That's right, we call them happy friends, including the orchestra members, the librarian, the inspector (the person who acts as a manager for all the orchestra members), and the choir (the person in the shadows). ), the person in charge of managing the homepage (master), and the general manager are also on Twitter, and there are many accounts and everyone retweets each other. So I guess it's officially helpful. There are also tweets from the perspective of instrumentalists that I can't pick up on.

Kanagawa Philharmonic
I guess I'm turning into a dog account (lol) I think they're making good use of the orchestra's promotion and loose tweets.
Brudal, the support mascot of the Kanagawa Philharmonic, is also a dog!

Reveal the secret of the person inside!

Kanagawa Philharmonic
Actually...I can't eat natto. I just can't.
By the way, my favorite food is dorayaki.

Sendai Philharmonic
Actually...cats and dogs can't touch it. Or rather, I don't like living things in general.
My favorite food is Tokyo chocolate waffle sandwich. We are waiting for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (lol) By the way, you can eat natto, if you prefer small grains.

What I want my followers to look forward to in the future

both
Maybe something will happen on April Fool's Day? (lol)
We're thinking of a lot of things for everyone to enjoy, so please look forward to it! !

Please give me one last thing.

“Just come once! From the shop owner”

"Thank you!😎"

Our followers should be able to tell which one is saying which!
Thank you both very much.
