Okada Museum of Art![]() The Okada Museum of Art opened in October 2013 in Kowakidani, Hakone. With a total of 5 floors and an exhibition area of approximately 5,000 square meters, the museum boasts the largest indoor exhibition area in Hakone. The museum was conceived from the desire to preserve the works of art that have been handed down in Japan, to share the joy of encountering beauty, and to pass them down to the next generation. The façade of the museum is decorated with a 12-meter-long, 30-meter-wide mural painting of the gods of wind and thunder, “Kaze Toki” (2013), painted by Kotaro Fukui, a contemporary Japanese painter. After viewing, you can enjoy a footbath cafe with 100% free-flowing hot springs and a walk in the garden. About the facility Access |
