René Lalique was a jewelry and glass artist who lived through the periods of Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
At the Hakone Lalique Museum, you can see Lalique's works spanning his lifetime, from jewelry that shines like stained glass to glass art that adorns everyday life.
Along with works themed around nature, which Lalique loved so much, the beautiful gardens that change appearance with the seasons are also a highlight.
There is also a special exhibition of the Orient Express, a luxury train whose interior was designed by Lalique in the past. On board, you can enjoy an exquisite tea time that can only be experienced here. (Tea time on the Orient Express requires a reservation on the day of the event.)
Enjoy a luxurious holiday in a spiritually enriching place where nature and art resonate together.
