Kamakura Noh stage

The Kamakura Noh Stage was founded on May 3, 1970, in Hase, Kamakura City, by the late Nakamori Shozo, with the aim of contributing to the advancement of culture by publicly displaying and promoting Japan's traditional performing art, Noh. (Completed in April 1971) Currently, Nakamori Kanta has taken over as its successor and is at the forefront of its operations. In addition to holding regular performances, the "Noh Knowledge Society"®, the stage, Noh masks, Noh costumes, and more are on display as a Noh museum. It can also be used for exhibitions. On November 1, 2011, the Kanagawa Prefecture certified the stage as a public interest incorporated foundation.

Additionally, in 2009, the building was opened as a Nohgaku Museum, open to the public, where visitors can see the Noh stage, Noh masks, Noh costumes, and more.
