Maita Park

If you walk down the Ooka River from the ward office, you will come to the place where the Ooka River and the Nakamura River diverge.
There is "Maita Park" (1-1 Shukumachi, about 2.3ha). This area was requisitioned by the Occupation Army after the war and returned in 1956.
Maita Park was opened in April 1984 as a park centered on a sports field (baseball field).
It has been used as the final venue for the international costume parade and as the Kanagawa central venue for May Day.
