BankART Temporary

BankART Temporary

BankART Temporary is a facility that uses the historical building ``Former Daiichi Bank Yokohama Branch (partially restored)'' built in 1929, and has a semicircular balcony lined with stately Tuscan-style columns. It is a beautiful building with unique characteristics.
*The name was changed from "YCC Yokohama Creative City Center" in April 2020.

An art space that utilizes the historic building "Former Daiichi Bank" located at Bashamichi Station on the Minato Mirai Line. This is the building that BankART1929 used for several years when Yokohama City's Creative City Initiative was launched in 2004. After various changes, in 2020 it will be operated by BankART again. The Kitanaka district where this building is located has changed significantly from before, and is now lined with skyscraper apartments, hotels, and the new city hall. Although it is only for a short period of time, we would like to keep it active and open to the public, just like other BankART facilities.
