BankART Temporary is a facility that uses the historic building "Former Daiichi Bank Yokohama Branch (partially restored)" built in 1929, and has a semi-circular balcony with colonnade of Tuscan style order. It is a beautiful building with character.
*The name was changed from "YCC Yokohama Creative City Center" in April 2020.
An art space that utilizes the historic building "Former Daiichi Bank" located at Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line. This building was used by BankART1929 for several years in 2004 when Yokohama City's creative city concept started. After various changes, in 2020, it will be operated by BankART again. The Kitanaka district where this building is located has changed greatly from before, and now there are many skyscraper apartments, hotels, new city hall, etc. Although it will be a short period of time, I would like to open it up to the public and carry out active activities like other BankART facilities.
