As the world deepens international mutual understanding and cooperative relationships, there has been a demand for internationalization in local communities as well. For this reason, in 1994 it was established as a base for learning and practice, in order to support the activities of citizens responsible for the internationalization of local communities, and to promote exchange and cooperation with cities and citizens of many different languages, ethnic groups, and cultures around the world. "Kawasaki International Exchange Center" opens in Kizuki Gion-cho, Nakahara Ward.
The facilities of the Kawasaki International Exchange Center consist of the main building with three floors above ground and one basement floor, an annex building, and a Japanese-style annex building. There is also a conference room that can be used for language courses. In addition, we have a library and resource room where you can browse over 15,000 books, newspapers, and magazines related to international exchange, and a cooking room where you can cook and taste international cuisine.
