If you walk down the Ooka River from the ward office, you will find that the Ooka River branches off from the Nakamura River.
There is "Maita Park" (1-1, Shukucho, about 2.3ha). The area around this area was requisitioned by the postwar troops and returned in 1956.
Maita Park was opened in April 1984 as a park centered on an athletic field (baseball field).
It has also been used as the terminal venue for international costume parades and the Kanagawa Central venue for May Day.
