エリスマン邸
  • Ellisman House

It was built at 127 Yamate-cho from 1925 to 1926 as a residence of Mr. Fritz Erismann, who was born in Switzerland, who was active as a Yokohama manager of the raw silk trading company. Designed by Czech architect Antonin Raymond, who is said to be the “father of modern architecture”. It was demolished for condominium construction in 1982, but relocated to its current location in Motomachi Park in 1990. On the first floor, there is a drawing room with a fireplace, a dining room, and a solarium overlooking the garden.
