Junnosuke Tada, who has been attracting attention from overseas as he became the first foreigner to win Korea's most prestigious Dong-A Drama Award for Best Direction for the Japan-Korea co-production ``Galmaegi,'' will take on Beckett's masterpiece.
Performed alternately in two versions from different eras!
The main characters Vladimir and Estragon are alternately performed in two versions: the Showa/Heisei version in which they are in their 60s, and the Reiwa version in which they are in their 30s. Two groups from different generations speak the same lines in the same stage setting...Enjoy the differences between the Showa/Heisei version, which continued to wait for Godot, and the Reiwa version, which will continue to wait for Godot.
