[Current exhibition] Continent collision and breakup told by Gondwaner rocks
"Gondwana" existed in the southern hemisphere about 600 million years ago. How did the gigantic continents that formed the basis of modern-day Africa, South America, India, Australia, and Antarctica come into being and break up? We solve these mysteries through rocks, minerals, and fossils. The continent of Gondwana is not very familiar in Japan, but the stories of the creatures associated with the continent are full of ancient romance!
