Every autumn, a wide-area event is held in which various cultural events are held at mansions and other facilities around the country. The Shonan Mansion Cultural Festival aims to let people know about mansions and other facilities, including venues that are usually closed to the public, experience the actual spaces, and feel their appeal, thereby spreading awareness of the existence and value of mansions and other facilities and increasing momentum for their preservation and utilization.
