Exhibition of selected artists' work

Production and Exhibition Support Program "Artists in FAS 2024: Exhibition of Works by Selected Artists"
"Artists in FAS" is an artist-in-residence program run by Fujisawa City Art Space (hereinafter referred to as FAS) that provides a place for artists engaged in a variety of creative activities to create and present their work. This is the ninth time the program has been held, and 56 applications were submitted from across the country. Four artists working on video, sculpture, installations, etc. were selected by an external judging panel (Mr. Atsuhiko Misawa [sculptor] and Michiyo Sanbonmatsu [Chief curator at the Museum of Modern Art, Kanagawa & Hayama]). Prior to the exhibition, the selected artists stayed in the FAS residence rooms to create their works for about three months from October. The results of their work will be presented at this exhibition. Please take a look at the works that were born from research into the nature and history of Fujisawa, and from interactions between local residents and artists themselves.
