[For junior high school students] Listen! Touch! Experience! Painting restoration experience class. Come join us! Junior conservators!
After a talk about "restoration" in a painting restoration studio that is normally off-limits to the public, you will have the opportunity to try out restoration (repainting).
You can take home your completed work.

■ You can take a peek into the world of painting conservation and restoration, touch real oil paintings, and learn about restoration.
■After the talk, you will actually try it out! You will have the experience of painting an oil painting that has lost some of its paint by painting it with color and restoring it (replenishing color).

I paint while imagining what color the missing parts were and what was drawn on them.
This is a special course where you can "listen," "touch," and "experience" things that can only be done in a restoration workshop, something you can't do in school classes or museums!
