The World of Shizuko Wakayama

Shizuko Wakayama is known for her illustrations in the "I am the King" series (by Teramura Teruo) and picture books such as "Dondokodon". We will introduce the world of Wakayama's work, who passed away in 2024. During the event, we will also be holding a "Kamishibai" event related to the Children's Tenrankai Association.

Kamakura Performing Arts Center
Kamakura Performing Arts Center is a charming cultural facility surrounded by beautiful greenery. Both the large hall, with its "rich acoustics," and the small hall, designed as a "spectacular hall," can be used for multiple purposes. In addition to the three galleries surrounding the bamboo grove, there are also studios, practice rooms, conference rooms, Japanese-style rooms, and other comprehensive facilities, all of which are open to the public as a place to cultivate and disseminate culture. |
