A fishing town in a local city with a tetrapod embankment and the sea nearby.
Yasu lived with his father, Hiro, a fisherman.
One day, Hiro gets caught in a landslide and goes missing.
Village volunteers, the fire brigade, and the police desperately searched for Hiro, but they were unable to find him.
Nine months passed like this.
Hiro's best friend, Sakiyama, a funeral director who lives nearby, comes to visit the house.
Sakiyama had received a request from the government to hold a funeral for Hiro, even if it was just a formality.
In order to persuade Yasu, who refuses, Sakiyama brings in the psychic medium Yoshimura.
Yasu, who does not trust psychics, kicks Yoshimura out of the house.
The next thing Sakiyama brought was an AI that looked exactly like his father.
The existence of a missing father, a psychic who can hear the voice of his father who has become a spirit, and an AI that looks just like his father...
Yasu then slowly begins the process of parting ways with his father.
