Kamakura Noh stage
The Kamakura Noh Stage was founded in Hase, Kamakura City on May 3, 1970, by the late Nakamori Shozo (completed in April 1971) with the goal of contributing to the advancement of culture by showcasing and promoting Japan's traditional performing art, Nohgaku. Currently, Nakamori Kanta has taken over as its chief executive. In addition to holding regular performances, "Nohgaku Shishiru Kai," the Nohgaku Museum displays the stage, Noh masks, Nohgaku costumes, and more. It can also be used for exhibitions. On November 1, 2011, the Kanagawa Prefecture certified the organization as a public interest incorporated foundation. |
