KAAT Human Resources Development Program 4th Green Theater Workshop
<Actions for the Future: Design Guide and Practical Hints>
"Sustainability" is "sustainability" in Japanese.
Systems and processes that enable the environment to maintain its diversity and productivity into the future, and enable our society to continue to function within that environment.
This is a major issue that society must address now, and as members of society, those involved in the performing arts cannot be an exception.
KAAT continues to hold workshops to consider the form of performing arts (green theater) that produces richer expressions than ever before while being environmentally conscious.
This time, we'll take inspiration from practical examples from the Miraikan, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, and think together about what can be done at cultural facilities and performing arts venues. Why not take the first step toward environmentally friendly stage construction and theater management while reading through the guide compiled by the museum? Let's start taking action that will lead to the future here.
