However, as the industrial structure changed, Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall was established in 2004 as a symbol of Kawasaki City's transformation into a cultural city. It has since been recognized for its world-class acoustics and has established itself as a renowned music venue where famous orchestras perform, contributing to Kawasaki City's "city development through music" initiative. Furthermore, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, which has a franchise agreement with Kawasaki City, uses Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall as its home base, conducting daily rehearsals and other activities, and is a leading force in creating and disseminating musical art in Japan.
