Eliana Pavlova established Japan's first ballet school in Shichirigahama, Kamakura, and nurtured pioneers who supported the Japanese ballet world. Kyoko Kawashima, author of "Eliana Pavlova, Mother of Japanese Ballet," will talk about her life and activities in Kamakura.

Kamakura Performing Arts Center is a charming cultural facility surrounded by beautiful greenery. Both the large hall, with its "rich acoustics," and the small hall, designed as a "spectacular hall," can be used for multiple purposes. In addition to the three galleries surrounding the bamboo grove, there are also studios, practice rooms, conference rooms, Japanese-style rooms, and other comprehensive facilities, all of which are open to the public as a place to cultivate and disseminate culture.

Access: Approximately 10 minutes on foot from JR Ofuna Station
