Chigasaki Historical Figures Museum 10th Anniversary Special Exhibition: "Stories of Chigasaki Told by People" (Second Half)
Many talented individuals with ties to Chigasaki have played active roles in the city, including the ninth Ichikawa Danjuro, Hiratsuka Raicho, Ozu Yasujiro, and Kayama Yuzo. Since its soft opening in 2015, the Chigasaki Historical Figures Museum has been exhibiting with the aim of deepening knowledge about various ways of thinking and living, as well as the history and culture of the region, through the lives of people associated with Chigasaki, fostering affection and pride for Chigasaki, and passing it on to future generations. To commemorate the 11th anniversary of the museum's official opening the following year, we will be holding a special exhibition that reintroduces the connections of all the historical figures associated with Chigasaki, focusing on those who have been featured in previous exhibitions, as well as various other individuals who have yet to be covered.
