"The World of the 'New Edition of the Topographical Record of Sagami Province'"

Aikawa Town Local History Museum Autumn Special Exhibition: "The World of 'Shinpen Sagami no Kuni Fudoki-ko'"
The "Shinpen Sagami no Kuni Fudoki Ko" (New Compilation of the Topography of Sagami Province), compiled by the Edo Shogunate, introduces various geographical, historical, and cultural aspects of Sagami Province (most of present-day Kanagawa Prefecture) during the Edo period.
Among these events, many of which are directly relevant to the present day, we will introduce those that pertain to Aikawa Town and its surrounding areas today.
