Art class to get acquainted with art: "Let's draw the Chinese zodiac on votive tablets!"
We create votive tablets depicting the Chinese zodiac using traditional Japanese painting materials such as mineral pigments.
Even if you've never done Japanese painting before, that's okay! With explanations of art materials and support from the instructor, you can take home a one-of-a-kind ema (votive tablet) inscribed with your wishes and goals for the new year.
