The local history museum is located in the Ashigara forest, where the legend of the Tengu (mythical mountain spirits) still thrives. In addition to a permanent exhibition introducing the history and culture of Minamiashigara City, we also hold exhibitions of our collection and three special exhibitions throughout the year.
