"Composition: Transportation and City," a stainless steel sculpture, greets passersby in the concourse inside the ticket gates at Shonandai Station.
Created by artist Naoto Mochizuki and installed in 1999, this 2.4-meter-tall sculpture lightly expresses the dynamism of intersecting and connecting "traffic" and "city."
