What is the Shonan Art District?

Shonan, with its beautiful coastline and attractive townscapes that exude history and culture, is an area thriving with cultural and artistic activities, including community musicals, community opera performances, and art festivals.
The prefecture has decided to designate 13 cities and towns along the Sagami Bay coast as the "Shonan Art District" and will promote cultural and artistic events in the area.
Shonan is home to culture and the arts. Come and enjoy the many fascinating events.
