Earth Plaza (Kanagawa Prefectural Global Citizenship Kanagawa Plaza)

Earth Plaza (Kanagawa Prefectural Kanagawa Plaza for Global Citizenship) is a facility with three objectives: to develop children's rich sensibilities, to foster a sense of global citizenship, and to support international activities.

We also hold large-scale special exhibitions on themes such as international understanding, peace, and the environment, as well as film screenings, workshops, field trips, and educational and legal consultations for foreigners.

The 5th floor permanent exhibition room is the "Children's International Understanding Exhibition Room," which displays everyday items, costumes, and musical instruments from countries around the world; the "International Peace Exhibition Room," which displays materials related to war, conflict, and refugee issues;
It consists of a "Children's Fantasy Exhibition Room" where children can play using all five senses. On the second floor, there is a video library with books and videos on international understanding and international cooperation activities, as well as an information forum.
*In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, rules for using each facility may differ.
Please be sure to check here before visiting.
