Ryosuke Hara was born in Hiratsuka in 1975. His work is characterized by bright, light-filled landscapes that accurately capture the subject with a single layer of oil paint. This exhibition will introduce Ryosuke Hara's current work, which has expanded in a variety of ways, focusing on his consistent pursuit of expression of light, and his energetic production in recent years in residencies and art projects. In addition, a workshop will be held for children in Hiratsuka to express their connection with nature around them.

Today, the city has a total area of 67.88 square kilometers and a current population of about 260,000. Blessed with a warm climate and abundant nature, it is a core city with a balanced mix of industries, and is also popular as a resort town. |
