We will be presenting a chamber music concert featuring cellist Akiko Sakomoto and members of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra.
The venue is the Kanagawa Art Hall, which the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra regularly uses as a practice venue.
On piano will be Sho Ito, former assistant conductor of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, creating an ensemble of three familiar figures.
Music played by musicians who are well acquainted with the acoustics of the art hall will fill Hodogaya Park after the lingering heat of summer has passed.
Please enjoy the heartwarming melodies of Ravel on an early autumn afternoon.

Kanagawa Art Hall
It was built in April 1992, almost in the center of the lush Kanagawa Prefectural Hodogaya Park, as a cultural facility to support the artistic and cultural activities of the prefecture's residents. In an environment colored by nature throughout the four seasons, it is used as a place for practicing and presenting artistic activities such as music, theater, and dance. In addition, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, the only professional orchestra in Kanagawa Prefecture, opens its rehearsals to the public, allowing visitors to experience excellent music up close. |
