人生百年 きものからのメッセージ

Kotohogi - A message from kimono for a hundred years of life -
In this modern age where people can live to be 100 years old, we will conduct a questionnaire survey to find out how our ancestors celebrated milestones in life, and will also exhibit messages from researched literature and other sources.
The exhibits will divide life into four major parts: "Tan" (things related to birth), "Niku" (being raised and growing), "En" (eventually leaving one's parents' home, finding employment, and forming kinship relationships through marriage), and "Yu" (children leaving the nest and living a healthy, leisurely life).
In addition, as this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Institute's founding, the Institute will exhibit the progress of the Research Laboratory and the results of the survey.
