Sogo Museum of Art

The Sogo Museum of Art is located on the 6th floor of the Sogo Yokohama store. It was the first museum in a department store to be registered under the Museum Act (registration number: Kanagawa No. 22) and opened on September 30, 1985. It houses approximately 200 oil paintings and watercolors by artists such as Suzuki Shintaro. At its exhibitions, it displays a wide range of genres, including Western-style paintings, Japanese paintings, crafts, sculptures, prints, calligraphy, and photography, both from Japan and abroad.
