SOGO MUSEUM OF ART

The Sogo Museum of Art is located on the 6th floor of the Sogo Yokohama store. It was the first museum in a department store to be registered under the Museum Act (registration number: Kanagawa No. 22) and opened on September 30, 1985. It houses approximately 200 oil paintings and watercolors by artists such as Suzuki Shintaro. At exhibitions, a wide range of genres, including Western-style paintings, Japanese paintings, crafts, sculptures, prints, calligraphy, and photography, are displayed both domestically and internationally.

  • 10:00-20:00 (Last entry 30 minutes before closing) (Closed) Closed during exhibition changeovers. Closing times during exhibitions follow the same schedule as the Sogo Yokohama store.
