Appreciation and Composition of Chinese Poetry 20th Introductory Course on Chinese Poetry
The Kanagawa Prefecture Chinese Poetry Federation aims to study, promote, and exchange Chinese poetry. The introductory Chinese poetry course is positioned as one of the activities aimed at achieving this goal. It has been held 18 times, once a year, to promote Chinese poetry culture and foster the next generation. Chinese poetry remains deeply popular through shigin (recitation of poems) and calligraphy. Meanwhile, with the revision of the higher education curriculum guidelines, the classical exploration activity of "reading classics and creating Chinese poetry" was explicitly stated. In light of the need to rediscover the traditional culture of Chinese poetry and foster the next generation, the introductory Chinese poetry course for beginners has become a valuable activity for the region and has been recognized nationwide. It is held five times over five days.
