The World of Yoh Shomei's "Poetry and Fairy Tales" Part 2

You can see Yoh Shomei's watercolors, oil paintings, sketches, handwritten words, and picture books on a variety of themes.
Vast green fields, clear blue skies, and isolated painted houses, trees, people, and animals... His style, which Takashi Yanase described as "painting the air," has garnered support from many people, and even today it continues to bring a breeze to the hearts of those who see it, evoking gentle feelings.
Our museum permanently exhibits approximately 80 of these original artworks, with works on display six times a year in the permanent exhibition room on the first floor and seasonal changes in the rooms on the second floor. The garden features six large American maples and seasonal white hydrangeas and white roses, inviting visitors into the world of picture books. We hope you will find the beautiful original artwork and words soothing and relaxing.
