You can see Yoshiaki Yo's watercolors, oil paintings, drawings, handwritten words, and picture books on various themes.
A spacious green meadow, a clear blue sky, and isolated houses, trees, people, and animals... Takashi Yanase's style of painting, which he described as ``drawing the atmosphere,'' has gained the support of many people, and even today, his paintings still convey a sense of wind to the hearts of those who see them, giving them a gentle feeling.
Approximately 80 of these original paintings are on permanent display at our museum, and you can see them six times a year in the permanent exhibition room on the first floor, and seasonal works in the rooms on the second floor. The garden has six large American maple trees and a garden where white hydrangeas and white roses bloom each season, inviting visitors to the world of picture books. We hope that you can soothe your tired heart and spend a moment of peace through these beautiful original paintings and words.
