Screening Schedule

Cinema Jack & Betty, an independent movie theater with two screens, Yokohama's last art house theater, Jack, and its only independent mini-theater, Betty, opened in December 1991. Its predecessor was Yokohama Meigaza, which opened on December 25, 1952 (Showa 27) immediately after the GHQ took over. Cinema Jack & Betty faced the threat of closure twice after that, but in 2007, the current manager, Kajiwara, and assistant manager, Kobayashi, who were still in their 20s at the time, quit their jobs and took over the theater's history.
