Kanagawa Prefecture Kabuki Appreciation Class for Fiscal Year 2026

To allow more people to easily enjoy the charm of Kabuki, which has a history of over 400 years, we will present popular plays with a full cast of actors. Our "How to Enjoy Kabuki" program, in which Kabuki actors explain the highlights in an easy-to-understand way, has also been well received. We will also provide a free booklet of appreciation guides summarizing the history and acting style of Kabuki, as well as a program, and subtitles for the Takemoto lyrics will be displayed, making this performance ideal for those seeing Kabuki for the first time.
