JICA Yokohama

JICA Yokohama

Located in the Minato Mirai 21 district, directly in front of the Red Brick Warehouse, this center was established in 2002 as JICA's comprehensive base in Kanagawa Prefecture, aiming to become a beloved center for the citizens.
We collaborate with local governments such as Yokohama City, universities and schools, NGOs, and private companies to implement international cooperation unique to Yokohama.

On the second floor, the Overseas Emigration Museum exhibits the history, lives, and experiences of Japanese emigrants who moved from Japan to other countries, as well as the current state of Japanese communities around the world. In the Library and Archives, you can view picture books from around the world and materials related to emigration.
On the 3rd floor, there's a restaurant with a view of the harbor called Port Terrace Cafe, where you can relax and unwind.
(Admission fee: Free)
