JICA Yokohama

JICA Yokohama

Located in the Minato Mirai 21 district, opposite the Red Brick Warehouse, the center was opened in 2002 as JICA's comprehensive base in Kanagawa Prefecture, with the aim of becoming a center loved by local residents.
We work in collaboration with local governments such as Yokohama City, universities, schools, NGOs, and private companies to practice international cooperation unique to Yokohama.

The Overseas Migration Museum on the second floor displays the history, lives, and experiences of Japanese immigrants who emigrated from Japan to overseas countries, as well as the current state of Japanese communities around the world. In the Library, you can see picture books from around the world and materials related to migration.
On the third floor, there is a restaurant called Port Terrace Cafe, where you can relax and enjoy a view of the harbor.
