Located in the Minato Mirai 21 district in front of the Red Brick Warehouse, it was opened in 2002 as a comprehensive base for JICA in Kanagawa Prefecture, with the aim of becoming a center that is loved by citizens.
We collaborate with local governments such as Yokohama City, universities and schools, NGOs, private companies, and others to practice international cooperation unique to Yokohama.
The Overseas Migration Museum on the 2nd floor exhibits the history, life, and experiences of Japanese immigrants who migrated from Japan to other countries, as well as the current state of Nikkei communities around the world. In the [Library and Reference Room], you can view picture books and migration-related materials from around the world.
On the 3rd floor, there is a restaurant [Port Terrace Cafe] with a view of the port, where you can spend a relaxing time.
