"Ken Kaiko and Gems: Stone Speaks" Exhibition (Part 1)
"Ken Kaiko and Gems: Stone Speaks" Exhibition (Part 1)
In Ken Kaiko's later works, jewels often appear, and these jewels are not merely physical objects, but rather condensed memories, life, and spirit, taking on diverse meanings within Kaiko's creative process, travels, and dialogues. This exhibition focuses on his final work from his later years, "Jewels," and explores the symbolism of jewels in Kaiko's literary world and its ideological and cultural impact. Using video and book materials documenting his encounters with jewels as clues, the exhibition traces how Kaiko interacted with, observed, and sublimated these experiences into "beauty," "value," and "spirituality."
