Radio show "I love period dramas!" ~Autumn Festival~ "Autumn Wind, Grand Battle!" Sword fighting & talk show
With the decline in television period drama production, opportunities to see the authentic sword fighting techniques that have been passed down at the Kyoto Studio have become rare.
To commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the radio show "I Love Period Dramas!", "Autumn Wind, Grand Fight!" will be held as a one-day-only special performance featuring period drama stars and members of Toei Kyoto's sword fighting group, "Toei Kenkai".
The cast centers around Ryuji Harada and Masatoshi Goda, who were beloved as the fifth generation Sukesan and Kakusan in "Mito Komon," with Masaki Nomura, familiar for his role as "Tsuge no Hien," making a special appearance.
Furthermore, the Toei Sword Society will bring together actors who have supported the production of period dramas as real stuntmen.
